I honestly don't understand how you people are this confused about this topic. You all were are elitists who hated every new member that signed up, so anybody who actually did stopped posting in about 2 days. I noticed that for years.

Having the same group of people gets old when you don't allow new people to join in conversations and then when people leave it dies out.

And no Lindsandahalf, the reason nobody posts anymore is because of people like you and your general outlook on the forum and the people there. Saying "all the assholes" stayed is just proving what I said up above. You people ruined a good forum and years later wonder what happened.

Yeah. Not exactly a news flash Seriously though, I don't want SITL reopened but as this may very well be the last time I post here, I might as well say thank you to you and everyone else who made that site happen, regardless of how brief it may have been. It really was a good time.

Regarding this thread, I think the real answer is that people just aren't excited about DMB anymore. If you don't have that, then you won't have people coming to a DMB message board. As much as I like Big Whiskey, I have no desire to see the band 5+ times in a single tour and then go to a message board to discuss the real-time setlist updates. They're just not that band.

Plus...the setlist game is gone. That was just brilliance.

That said, I fully support this thread turning ugly and having people yell and curse at each other.
